The sushi here is absolutely beautiful, and Dianna explains it so well and had amazing moments with us and kept us laughing all night. THEY EVEN HAVE DISCO BALLS! True Nashville vibe! 100 recommend

Rock N Roll Sushi in Vanderbilt is a total gem! The atmosphere is fun and energetic, with awesome rock decor and great music that sets the perfect vibe. The sushi? Absolutely top-notch—fresh, creative, and full of flavor. The Headbanger Roll was a must-try, and everything we ordered was spot-on. Service was friendly and fast, and the staff really knows their stuff. If you’re looking for great sushi in a fun, laid-back setting, this place hits all the right notes. Highly recommend!

We were craving some good sushi for girls night out and this spot did not disappoint!!! Food was excellent!!!! This place had good vibes. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Jennifer (owner) even came by and checked on us, which was pretty cool. The Chicken Hibachi, shrimp tempura roll and ramen were some of our favs. Yum! Overall a great first experience. We will definitely hit this spot again!

I’ve never had just sushi for a meal as it’s always been on the side or an appetizer but Rock n Roll changed my mind. The menu and ambience of the place was great & very creative. Over the 4 courses of different sushi we got, it was all incredibly delicious & the staff was absolutely fantastic (especially our awesome server Mike! ). The live music was top-notch as well. Looking forward to coming back & enjoying more!

Love this sushi/hibachi place! The environment is a 10/10 due to the music and the respective videos playing on the TVs. Food comes out HOT! It’s amazing. If you’re in the Nashville/Vanderbilt area you gotta stop by! Some of the best headbanger shrimp, rice, and sushi this dude has eaten. *Went during the Spooky Season and MCR was playing.*

Hands down the best Japanese and Sushi I have EVER had in all my years the Hibachi and Volcano roll was very Unique and Delicious..our server Savanah was Wonderful explained exactly what was on and included and even recommended the tempura fried chocolate Hall of Fame brownie that melted in your mouth. Next time you're in Nashville you HAVE to visit them at the Vanderbilt location. Yum Yum Yum...

My girlfriend and I walked over from the hospital and ate here today around 4pm. We ordered a Reggae Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, a Legend Roll, and Miso Soup. All of it was outstanding! Enjoyed the music while we ate. Our server was also on point, though I didnt catch his name. Great, reasonably priced placed to eat within walking distance of the South Parking Garage at the hospital. Thanks for the great food and service.

Honestly, Good little sushi restaurant. I don't really think rock n roll when I think sushi, but it was a pretty good experience overall. Prices were reasonable, food tasted good and were good portions, not too busy, service was great, drinks were great. They even had glutton free soy sauce. I also liked the fact that you can still find nearby street parking around this part of town that isn't going to cost you money. Overall, it was a good experience.
